Wow! What a great day we had Tuesday! We were one of the sponsers for a Golf Tournament Association of America (GTAA) seminar in Yardsley, PA, and I’ve gotta tell you, it was GREAT! First off, anyone planning a golf tournament needs to attend one of these free seminars. I learned so much in a 3 hour period. There were over 100 attendees, representing 77 tournaments at the beautiful Makefield Highlands Golf Course in PA. The staff at Makefield Highlands G.C. was the friendliest, most accommodating people I’ve ever met! The course is a beautiful links style course that was built just 5 years ago. The conditions were on par with a much less used private course, yet this was a public course! GTAA had a guy named Phil conducting the seminar and he was great! The seminar went over because there were so many great questions during the Q&A section. When we were finished with the seminar, Makefield fed us all a great lunch and a fun 18 hole best ball tournament, all NO CHARGE! Just to recap, I now have an enormous amount of respect for the GTAA and Makefield Highlands Golf Course is now on the list of my favorite golf courses in the world! Here’s a picture of the course. A few of us at L.O.F.T. GOLF are hitting the road at 6:00 AM tomorrow to travel to the great state of Pennsylvania to participate in a seminar for tournament directors given by the Golf Tournament Association of America! This is the opportunity for Steve, our tournament sales manager, to show the tournament world how, not only will L.O.F.T. GOLF make your tournament cool, but profitable as well! Steve has put together some incredible tournament packages and we believe that the next tournament you participate in, you just may be lucky enough to be wearing cool L.O.F.T. Gear! This is a brand new program that will be reaching more than 100 million homes very shortly. L.O.F.T. GOLF got on-board with GSN because we really believe in their vision and concept. Your pals at L.O.F.T. GOLF took the 15 hour drive to Cleveland, TN to film an upcoming 5 minute segment on The Golf Shopping Network. We started off our visit with a round of golf at the beautiful Cleveland Country Club, where we were able to prove that we “live the brand”! Saturday morning we were on the set filming our segment. Lauren Thompson was on hand to assist us on the set. Not only is she beautiful, but she’s incredibly talented and very nice. We’re loaded, fueled up and heading down to beautiful Cleveland, TN to tape our segment for the Golf Shopping Network. In about a month, 100 million homes will have access to our 5 minute segment on GSN! Our shipping department will remain open for all orders while we are gone. Several of you have been writing, asking us about the L.O.F.T. GOLF kittens, Tippy and Samantha. Here’s a picture I just took with my iPhone of Tippy hard at work under my desk. Sam must be hard at work in someone elses office or I’d post a photo of her as well. Please keep this quiet, as we don’t want them to know, but July 7th they’re going to the vet to be fixed. Many of you have been writing to ask what happened to Ted. He was unable to update us this past weekend, as he took a couple days off, but will be returning with all new adventures this weekend. Rumor has it that Ted has been invited to a 4TH of July pool party complete with fireworks this Saturday. He promises that he’ll forward us pictures of the celebration. Also on Ted’s agenda is a road trip to Cleveland, TN to tape an upcoming 5 minute segment with the Golf Shopping Network. While he’s in Cleveland, he will be meeting with a celebrity TV broadcaster. Whom, you may ask? Like the rest of us, you’ll just have to wait for the pictures. Stay tuned for more exciting adventures of Ted!
