Hello ‘lofters’! Well our first show ever is now behind us and it was FANTASTIC! We just weren’t sure how this entirely new concept in golf apparel would go over, especially at the prestigeous PGA Merchandise Show. We wonder no more! We were the hit of the show! People from all over the world LOVED the brand. Your favorite fella, Stickmon, will now be loved by golfers in Japan, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Scotland and Ireland, just to name a few countries other than the USA. The excitment of the brand blew away our expectations and we couldn’t be happier. Stickmon will be joining a whole bunch of golf tournements in the US and Puerto Rico and will be proudly displayed in pro shops and golfs stores worldwide! People absolutely LOVED our brand and know their customer’s will love to join our loyal band of ‘lofters’. We shared with all the customers the passion our loyal (and good looking) ‘lofter’s have with the brand and they can’t wait to become a part of our community. We met many of our ‘lofters’ these past few days and what can I tell ya…what a great, passionate group of people! Thank you Bogeyman, Jon, Floridagolfer, Eaglegirl and Crabbybill for your help at the show! It was GREAT to finally meet all of you in person. More updates will follow but there is a big ‘ole glass of Ketel One calling me now and I can’t ignore it. Please contact us with any questions, comments or, ummmmm, anything! We love you ‘lofter’s! It’s the end of day 2 at the ‘09 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando. Wow! We are having a blast meeting you fellow ‘lofters’ as well as a gazillion people throughout the golfing industry. The response has been even better than we expected! People LOVE thebrand and are excited that a company finally came out with fun golf wear. The response to our buddy Stickmon was incredible and real positive and you’ll soon be seeing LOFT Gear throughout the country at fine golf courses and golf shops. Did we say around the country? We mean the world. Our first order taken yesterday was heading all the way to Japan so now we are WORLDWIDE! We’ve had a tremendous interest from Puerto Rico as well and should be supplying shirts for huge tournaments in that beautiful country soon. Out of the trillion companies at the PGA Show this year your friends at LOFT GOLF are going to be featured on an ESPN radio affiliate in Texas tomorrow because the people love the brand so much! We will be getting a link to the broadcast and will post it to the site for all to hear when we get it. Yup, this is my longest post to date so that should tell you just how excited we all are with the warm reception we all got from the golf industry. One more thing then I’m going to bed: We spoke with literally thousands of people this weekend and have come up with even bigger, better products for the upcoming months. We at LOFT GOLF thank you for your support from our humble beginnings and will work tirelessly to bring you products you’ll be proud to wear to tell the world you’re a ‘lofter’, and a ‘lofter is ALWAYS loved! We just returned from the first day at the PGA Merchandise show and it was GREAT! People LOVED the brand and we got a lot of great input for future product offerings. We got to meet Bogeyman from the forum. He’s a great guy and we thank him for all his help!
The LOFT crew finally made it to Orlando for the PGA Merchandise Show. We arrived Monday night and spent the day setting up the booth. It looks great! OK, here’s a travel tip for all you ‘lofters’:if you are preparing to make a 1.300 mile road trip, before you leave town, stop in at McDonalds. Order 2 Big Macs (’cause you have the buy-one-get-one-free coupon), order a medium Coke and hit the road. Why, you ask, is this a travel tip? Once you’ve eaten 2 Big Macs you will be tasting them for at least 12 hours, saving you both time and money on future food purchases! More we learned on our journey: When you stop to get a hotel, there’s no reason to spend a lot for your rooms. Stop at a Super 8 hotel and order a non-smoking room. If you’re at he place we stayed they’ll put you in a sweet room right next door to the laundry room for no extra charge. This room will allow you to here the maids and laundry personnel speaking in loud voices ALL night. Yup, no need to whisper here, we’re up and that’s all that matters. It wasn’t a real fun trip down but thank God we’re all safe and ready to introduce L.O.F.T. GOLF to the world! Wish us luck! We hope to see you there!
All of us at LOFT GOLF work very hard to bring you the latest news impacting your golf life. That being said, John Lowe, the head of the Atomic Standards Group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, assured the LOFT team that our 24 hour day will increase to 25 hours due to the earth’s rotation slowing down! The good news is that will allow an entire hour dedicated to golf. The bad news is the switch to a 25 hour day won’t happen for 140 million years. That being said, several of us may not live to see the day but if you eat healthy, quit smoking and exercise, you may be able to get 13:00 tee times!
As you know, LOFT GOLF will be participating in the 2009 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando in two weeks. Although our ‘09 LOFT GEAR is supposed to be a secret ’till then, we leaked just one of the great looking ‘09 product for the world to see! Pretty cool, huh?
